The Atlanta Falcons moved to 2-0 after a thrilling comeback win over the Green Bay Packers.

The Atlanta Falcons continue to fight for coach Arthur Smith - and walked away with a stunning 25-24 comeback victory over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

For the second straight week, the Falcons finished in a flurry, having their way in the final quarter, outscoring the Packers 13-0.

Trailing 10-9 at halftime, Atlanta came out of the locker room slow, punting on its opening drive before allowing a Packers touchdown.

The Falcons responded with quarterback Desmond Ridder throwing a touchdown pass to receiver Mack Hollins, who appeared to get both feet his down ...but saw the officials overturn the call and had to settle for three.

Green Bay then added another touchdown on its ensuing drive, leaving the Falcons in a frustrating 24-12 deficit - but then, the flip switched.

Ridder led Atlanta down the field in convincing fashion, connecting on a 45-yard completion to Hollins on 3rd and 3 and then running in a score on 4th and 4 to trim the margin to 24-19.

The Falcons' defense produced another stop, and Ridder led another strong drive that ended with a Younghoe Koo field goal, making it 24-22.

Green Bay received the ball with half the final quarter to play, seeking to extend its lead or milk the clock - and did neither, with Atlanta stopping running back A.J. Dillon on 3rd and 1 before Jordan Love was called for a false start on a quarterback sneak attempt.

Atlanta quickly moved its way into Packers territory, as Ridder found receiver Drake London for a 23-yard pickup. The drive continued deep into the red zone, featuring a bold 4th and 1 call from Smith on a flip to Robinson that netted a first down, though risked passing on Koo's opportunity to take the lead.

Just three plays later, Koo had his chance, as the Falcons kicked it on 4th and 1 this time - and he connected from 25 yards out.

This set the stage for Love and the Packers, trailing 25-24 with the ball and no timeouts. The clock stood at 57 seconds when Green Bay took over on its own 25.

After three straight incompletions, the Packers were staring down a 4th and 10 ... and Love completed his pass to Samori Toure, but the play was called back due to an illegal shift ... and eventually ruled incomplete, giving the Falcons the win and a vindicating comeback.

The Falcons are now 2-0 for the first time since 2016, living up to the preseason hype and flipping the script on years worth of trouble finishing games.

Atlanta returns to action next Sunday for its first road game of the season, a 1 p.m. matchup against the Detroit Lions.
