WATCH: Viral Justin Fields Video Hints at Falcons Trade?
As rumors swirl about the Atlanta Falcons potentially making a trade for current Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields, a new video posted to Instagram has turned the volume up on the buzz.
Mario Nunez, Fields' "manager" according to his Instagram bio, posted a video of the Bears quarterback jumping up and down in obvious excitement Tuesday night. What has Fields jumping in joy is still unclear. However, the voice of someone in the background has seemingly spurred the rumors of a trade to the Falcons on:
"Hope you ready to go home," a person in the background appeared to have said to Fields.
Was that said? It is still unclear, but if said, it'd be a very obvious hint at Fields being traded to the Falcons, which would be a homecoming for the former Georgia native.
This video comes after Bears general manager Ryan Poles essentially let it be known that Fields would be traded if they decided to draft a quarterback with the No. 1 pick.
"If we go down that road, I wanna do right by Justin as well," Poles said on Tuesday at the NFL Scouting Combine. "No one wants to live in gray. I know that's uncomfortable. I wouldn't wanna be in that situation either. So we'll gather the information. We'll move as quickly as possible. We're not gonna be in a rush. And (we'll) see what presents itself and what's best for the organization."
After trading the No. 1 pick away to the Carolina Panthers last year, a move that saw them move down the board to select offensive tackle Darnell Wright at No. 9, it seems hard to believe they'll pass on a signal-caller again.

Since being drafted out of Ohio State in the first round, Fields hasn't exactly lived up to the hype. Although what could have been his final season in Chicago may have been his best. Fields threw for a career-high 2,562 yards with 16 touchdowns and nine interceptions while completing 61.4 percent of his passes. In addition, Fields rushed for 657 yards and four scores with his legs in 13 games last season.
This may end up being why the Falcons trade for Fields, as they still see the potential in him to become the quarterback they need to end their seven-year disappearance from the postseason.
