NFL Top 100: Where's Falcons RG Chris Lindstrom?
On paper, the Atlanta Falcons offensive line looks to be a strength of the team heading into the 2023 season. Even last fall, the Falcons' offensive front wasn't anything to snuff at as they helped make the team the No. 3 overall running game in the league.
Offensive lineman Chris Lindstrom was a standout player for the Falcons' offensive line last season. As the starting right guard for Atlanta, Lindstrom played in all 17 games and earned a 95 overall grade from Pro Football Focus, which made him the highest-rated offensive lineman. He also earned a 93.1 grade as a run blocker, the highest on the team.
Heading into his fifth season in the pros, Lindstrom is entering the season as a top-100 player, according to CBS Sports.
"He has developed into one of the best right guards in the league," CBS Sports writes. "He is a physical player who has improved his pass protection, while being one of the best run blockers."
The former 2019 first-round pick received high honors following his fourth season, becoming the lone Falcon selected to play in the Pro Bowl, and along with the only one to be voted as an All-Pro by the Associated Press.
Luckily for the Falcons, they signed Lindstrom to a five-year extension this offseason which will keep him in Atlanta for the next five years as they hope he can lead an offensive line unit capable of getting back into the playoffs.
