'Beef Up': Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill Warns Falcons Rookie Bijan Robinson

When Tyreek Hill's Miami Dolphins matchup against Bijan Robinson's Atlanta Falcons in the preseason, is an assault bound to occur?

The Atlanta Falcons are weeks away from training camp and a visit with the Miami Dolphins.

Falcons rookie running back Bijan Robinson sat down with Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill and gained some insight on what to expect when the two teams have joint practices on Aug. 8-9 ahead of their Aug. 11 preseason opener.

"When y'all come here to Miami, that defense looking right. Vic Fangio got that defense looking nasty up front. You might want to beef up a little bit," Hill told Robinson on the "It Needed To Be Said" podcast.

While the two were having a light-hearted conversation, Hill informed Robinson that although joint practices can be fun, fistfights are bound to happen between the teams and that players in the trenches, including running backs like himself, must be prepared for when Miami's heat ultimately makes tempers flare up.

Luckily for Robinson, he enters the league with a grown man's body despite being only 21 years old. At the collegiate level, he dealt punishment to defenses at will. Atlanta expects that to continue after investing the No. 8 overall pick on him in this year's NFL Draft.

How the rookie fares in joint practice sessions with the Dolphins could indicate what's to come in 2023, as it will be his first chance to assert himself as one of the league's premier offensive weapons. Robinson has been heralded as the next great NFL running back since he was 19, and soon he'll have the chance to validate the hype.
