Kentucky QB Will Levis Falls Out of Round 1; Falcons Draft in Round 2?

The Atlanta Falcons passed on Will Levis in Round 1. Would they do it again in Round 2?
In this story:

It's Day 2 of the NFL Draft and projected top pick Will Levis is still on the board waiting to find out his fate.

Levis' pre-draft projections had him going as high as the No. 2 pick to the Houston Texans, but after C.J. Stroud went to the Houston Texans and Anthony Richardson was taken by the Indianapolis Colts two spots later, the Kentucky product began to fall.

Levis was a top-30 visit for eight teams in the pre-draft process, and three of them took quarterbacks in Round 1. The teams that Levis visited that didn't take a quarterback were the Las Vegas Raiders, Tennessee Titans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots and ... the Atlanta Falcons.

Out of those teams, the Raiders pick first at No. 38, while the Titans are at No. 41. If both of them pass on Levis again, the Falcons could look at picking him at No. 44. However, the competition for Levis isn't limited to those five teams. In fact, NFL Network is reporting that teams are targeting a trade for the first pick in the round, held by the Pittsburgh Steelers at No. 32.

There is a slight chance that the Falcons may be calling the Steelers for that trade, but after continually committing to Desmond Ridder, it doesn't appear likely. That being said, Levis' value as a top-10 pick is far different than his second-round reality. The Falcons addressed want over need in the first round with Bijan Robinson, so it's hard to guarantee that Atlanta would pass up on Levis again.
