NFL Post-Draft Power Rankings: Falcons Rising Up?

The Atlanta Falcons made some upgrades in the 2023 NFL Draft. Where does that put them in the latest NFL power rankings?
In this story:

The Atlanta Falcons are taking a deep breath after they added a number of rookies to the team through the NFL Draft.

The draft brought on a ton of promise for Atlanta, with potential starters being selected on each side of the ball.

Atlanta's draft pushed the team up two spots in The 33rd Team's post-draft power rankings.

"Good news: Bijan Robinson plus Tyler Allgeier and Cordarrelle Patterson equals one hell of a rushing attack," 33rd Team writes.

"Bad news: Adding Robinson to the offense was nice, but it came at the expense of picking up a much-needed pass rusher for a defense that had the league’s lowest sack percentage and second-lowest quarterback pressure rate last season. The Atlanta Falcons didn’t take a defensive lineman until the third round (Ohio State’s Zach Harrison)."

The Falcons still have some holes to fill before the season begins. Atlanta could benefit from adding another veteran to the secondary after Casey Hayward was released. The team could also use another wide receiver to team up with Drake London and Mack Hollins after losing Olamide Zacchaeus to the Philadelphia Eagles in free agency.

However, the draft this weekend brought Atlanta much closer to where it needs to be and fans should be excited for what's to come.
