Steelers vs. Falcons GAMEDAY Preview: Offense Looks to Bounce Back

The Atlanta Falcons host the Pittsburgh Steelers in tonight's preseason finale.
In this story:

The Atlanta Falcons (1-0-1) are just hours away from hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers (2-0) in the final preseason game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Both teams are expected to play some of their starters in one final tune-up before the NFL regular season begins in two weeks.

For the Steelers, expect Kenny Pickett to draw the start at quarterback, while fellow second-year pro Desmond Ridder lines up under center for the Falcons. It remains to be seen how much playing time the first-team players will have, but there will be starters suiting up.

The Falcons starters played in a large first-quarter drive last week where Atlanta was able to push the ball down the field well, but penalties and a costly Ridder interception resulted in no points. An easy measurement line for a successful Falcons showing this week would be putting points up on the scoreboard ... especially against a very talented Steelers defense.
