Still a Chance? Falcons' Playoff Odds on Life Support After Christmas Eve Win vs. Colts
Sunday was fun for Atlanta Falcons fans, but that fun may not last much longer.
According to NFL.com's playoff picture, the Falcons hold just a 10 percent chance to reach the playoffs after the dominating 29-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Christmas Eve. They are not, however, completely eliminated from postseason contention, currently holding the No. 11 spot out of 13 NFC teams still in the running.
Atlanta experienced somewhat of an offensive revival on Sunday after giving the offensive reins (again) over to veteran quarterback Taylor Heinicke after recent struggles from Desmond Ridder. He threw for 229 yards and a score en route to the much-needed win, and running backs Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier combined for over 100 yards rushing and a score.
Still, things look dim in the Falcons' playoff outlook, but if they want to keep those hopes alive for another week, maybe Heinicke is the answer moving forward.

Atlanta will travel for its final two games of the regular season, beginning with a trip to face the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET, and the game will be televised on CBS.
