Because the 49ers apparently enjoy kicking a man when he's down.

Beating the New York Giants last week 30-12 wasn't enough for members of the San Francisco 49ers defense, who mocked quarterback Daniel Jones's worthiness of a 4-year, $160 million contract.

Defensive lineman Arik Armstead took to social media after the Giants were dismantled by the Seattle Seahawks 24-3 to continue the verbal piling-on that his fellow defenders began last week.

"Daniel Jones I am so disappointed in you… why would you would(sic) throw the ball so quick vs. us and then let these people have a career day ? ….. why weren’t we deserving?" Armstead tweeted before ending his message with several laughing faces.

Armstead was likely referring to the 10-sack, 2-interception day Jones suffered as his offensive line once again left him with little to no protection.

Regardless of what he was referring to, Armstead and his defensive teammates could use a refresher about the meaning of good sportsmanship.
