One of the New York Giants' most glaring issues is their offensive line, which vastly underperformed and made life difficult for the quarterbacks last season.

With the Giants expected to add to the unit--the most likely scenario is via free agency, as to do so would likely improve the unit's chances of hitting the ground running--one such pending veteran free agent that The 33rd Team's Marcus Mosher believes could be a fit for the Giants is Robert Hunt of the Miami Dolphins.

Guard remains a big issue, and it's why Mosher believes Hunt would be a fantastic fit. He’s only 28 and has been one of the better guards in the league during the past few years. Hunt also has had injury problems, but the Giants have to get more talented on their offensive line this offseason.

Hunt has spent his entire four-year career with the Dolphins. He only played in 11 games last season, missing time with a hamstring injury. However, in those 11 games, he only allowed one sack and quarterback hit, per Pro Football Focus.

Before last season, Hunt had never missed a game in his previous three seasons in the NFL. Before this past season, he started in 45 of the 50 previous games he played in.

Mosher believes that his experience could go a long way toward solidifying the Giants' interior offensive line that last year allowed 179 pressures during the 2023 season (67 percent of all pressures).
