Earlier this week, eight publishers from the various NFL team channels on Sports Illustrated met via Skype to run a final first-round only mock draft, that, while devoid of trades, wasn't devoid of surprises.

The panelists included Ed Kracz (Philadelphia), Corbin Smith (Seattle), Will Ragatz (Minnesota ), Alain Poupart (Miami ), Pete Smith (Cleveland), Howard Balzer (Arizona), Todd Karpovich (Baltimore ) and yours truly.

While in some instances, a trade was recommended, the end-result saw a shocking twist in the first ten picks of the draft.

Here are the results, with the person who made the pick listed in parentheses:
