The New York Giants are riding high after their 24-22 win on Monday night against the Packers. The win ended a five-year drought of losing on Monday night when their last victory was against the 49ers in 2018. Tommy DeVito is the biggest thing in New York sports right now, helping lead the Giants to a three-game winning streak.

DeVito’s performance last week, where he threw for 158 yards and one touchdown while rushing for 71 yards, earned him NFC Offensive Player of the Week and Pepsi Rookie of the Week. The undrafted rookie is making headlines for all the right reasons and has the city buzzing. With the help of Saquon Barkley (two rushing touchdowns) and Wan’Dale Robinson (115 yards), the Giants offense was watchable against the Packers.

The defense continues to play well, forcing two turnovers on quarterback Jordan Love. An interception by Jason Pinnock and a forced fumble from Kayvon Thibodeaux now give the Giants 22 takeaways on the season, tied for third-most in the NFL.

The team they’re tied with? The Saints. New Orleans hasn’t had the greatest season, as quarterback Derek Carr has been wildly inconsistent and has received much fan backlash lately. The Giants defense is looking to force Carr into bad decisions on Sunday.

The Giants will be heading back to the Superdome for the first time since 2021, where they won an overtime thriller on the backs of Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley. Will they be able to come out victorious again and keep their winning streak alive? It’s shaping up to be a good one down in New Orleans.
