EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - The hits keep coming for the New York Giants, who lost two key members of their offense in the first half of their Monday night game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Center John Michael Schmitz suffered a shoulder injury and tight end Daniel Bellinger suffered a knee injury in the first quarter of the game. The Giants later ruled both players out.

Schmitz's injury gave the Giants its fifth offensive line combination of the year as Ben Bredeson moved from left guard to center, with Shane Lemieux coming in to replace him at left guard. The Giants are already missing left tackle Andrew Thomas, who has been sidelined with a hamstring injury and has been classified as week-to-week.

Bellinger is the No. 2 tight end on the team but is also the best blocker of the position group and potentially the most versatile. It's unclear how bad his injury is, but he was also ruled out of the game.

The Giants were down 7-0 to Seattle after New York quarterback Daniel Jones lost the ball on a strip sack by Mario Edwards. Two plays later, seahawks quarterback Geno Smith found receiver D.K. Metcalfe in the right side of the end zone for the 6-yard touchdown and the 7-0 lead after the extra point.
