New York Giants Game Day: Dexter Lawrence Active

Who's in and who's out for the Giants-Eagles Week 16 Christmas Day game.

New York Giants defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence II, who has been dealing with a hamstring injury for almost a month, is active for the team's Week 16 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Lawrence didn't practice this week until Friday and was limited. Head coach Brian Daboll said that the defensive lineman would give it a go regardless if he was able to practice, but the expectation is that Lawrence will be on a pitch count.

The Giants inactive list includes defensive back Gervarrius Owens, running back Jashaun Corbin, outside linebacker Boogie Basham, outside linebacker Benton Whitley, receiver Parris Campbell, offensive lineman Sean Harlow, tight end Lawrence Cager (groin) and defensive lineman Rakeem Nunez-Roches (knee).

Cager was listed as questionable on the team's injury report. Nunez-Roches was declared out on Saturday. And with Whitley inactive, Tomon Fox, one of two standard practice squad elevations for the Giants this week, gets a game uniform.

The Eagles will be without linebacker Zach Cunningham (knee), guard Landon Dickerson (thumb), cornerback Darius Slay (knee), and outside linebacker Nicholas Morrow (abdomen), all of whom were on the final injury report. Cunningham, Dickerson, and Slay were declared out on Saturday, while Morrow was listed as questionable.

The Eagles' healthy scratches are running back Rashaad Penny and tight end Albert Okwuegbunam. Quarterback Tanner McKee is the emergency quarterback.
