The New York Giants have signed outside linebacker Jeremiah Martin to the practice squad.

Martin, 6-foot-3 and 265 pounds, is a defensive end/outside linebacker who played his college ball at Texas A&M and Washington. He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Cleveland Browns in 2023 but was waived on August 29.

In his five-year, two-school college career, Martin appeared in 31 games and recorded 65 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, one pass breakup, and two forced fumbles.

Martin remained out of football until signing with the Giants, who had a practice squad spot open after losing quarterback Matt Barkley, who signed with the Jaguars last week.

On Sunday, the Giants conclude the 2023 season at home against the Philadephia Eagles. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m.
