New York Giants Add Two Interior O-linemen
The New York Giants have added two more veteran offensive linemen to their roster, guard/center Austin Schlottmann and guard Aaron Stinnie, per ESPN.
Schlottmann is a five-year NFL veteran who was most recently with the Minnesota Vikings, for whom he played two seasons. The 6-6, 300-pound Schlottmann initially joined the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of TCU in 2018, playing three years for Denver.
He signed a one-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings in 2022 but finished that season on injured reserve. He re-signed with Minnesota the following year.
Schlottmann has appeared in 67 games with 14 starts over his career, with the bulk of his snaps coming at right guard and center. He's posted a 96.0 pass-blocking efficiency rating over his career.
Stinnie, 6-3 and 312 pounds, began his college career at James Madison on the defensive side of the ball. He later converted to the offensive side but went undrafted, signing with the Titans after the 2018 draft. Stinnie played two seasons for the Titans, and four with the Bucs, appearing in 31 games played, and 12 games started.
Stinnie, who tore his ACL in 2022 while as a member of the Bucs, has experience playing both guard positions over his career. He has posted a 96.5 pass-blocking efficiency rating.
