The New York Giants 2023 training camp schedule has been released and will feature nine practices scheduled to be opened to the public this year.

The team will report to camp on Tuesday, July 25, which is a little earlier than usual. That's because the league changed the rule, which used to say that the soonest a team could report to camp was 14 days before its first preseason game.

The reporting date for teams is based on when their Week 1 regular season game is played. If a team has a game scheduled for Thursday or Sunday in Week 1, all veterans (except for quarterbacks and/or injured players, who may report to camp earlier) must report to camp 47 days (which includes one day for physicals, meetings, and conditioning tests) before their regular season opener.

The Giants open their regular season on Sunday night, September 10, at home against Dallas.

The Giants' first practice will be on Wednesday, July 26 at 10 a.m. They will hold three late afternoon/early evening practices starting at 5 p.m., on Friday, July 28, Tuesday, August 1, and Saturday, August 5.

They will be in Detroit for joint practices against the Lions on August 8-9, with the first preseason game to be held against the Lions on Friday, August 11.

Padded practices won't begin until after the team has had a five-practice acclimation period.

The Giants will also host their third annual Giants Fan Fest, presented by Wendy’s, at MetLife Stadium on Thursday, August 24. The event is free and open to the public and will include a movie screening and fireworks.

Entertainment will include appearances and autographs from Giants Legends, the Giants Drumline, and more. Gates will open at 6 p.m., followed by the movie at 7 p.m. and fireworks at 9 p.m.

Admission to the practices is free, but a ticket is required. Fans may sign up for tickets at www.giants.com/trainingcamp. Giants Season Ticket Members will have exclusive early access to claim Training Camp tickets starting at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, and Fan Fest tickets at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8. 

The remaining training camp and Giants Fan Fest tickets will be available to the general public on Thursday, July 13 (2 p.m.) and Thursday, August 10 (2 p.m.), respectively.

Practices are also subject to the weather; if inclement weather necessitates practice being held inside the field house, the public will not be admitted.
