FEB 2: LOVE FIRES A VERBAL SHOT AT EAGLES HEAD COACH. Pending New York Giants unrestricted free agent Julian Love is not a fan of the job done this year by Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni.

Love, appearing on Good Morning Football, threw a backhanded compliment at Sirianni, calling him a "great coach" but adding "he wasn’t “getting in the way of his team.

Love went on to note that the Eagles' roster is filled with quality veteran players, which makes the head coach's job practically a cakewalk.

"He's in for a free ride right now," Love told host Peter Schrager, adding, "You guys could coach this team."

Love also didn't appreciate Sirianni's sideline antics during the EAgles' game against the Giants, specifically when Sirianni appeared to be bragging to the cameras by nodding his head up and down in a cocky type of way as his team coasted to a 38-7 victory.

“I don’t like it,” Love said.

Love's comments got back to the Eagles, who are practicing this week ahead of their departure to Phoenix for Super Bowl XLVII over the weekend. Predictably, they were met with derision, particularly from defensive end Brandon Graham.

"A lot of people are mad because of what happened this season," Graham said after taking a shot at Love, who had a tough night against the Eagles in the postseason game. "It carried no weight."

But it sure does make for added drama next season when the two division rivals see each other again.
