One of the most interesting Day 2 wide receiver prospects is taking a visit with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

According to KPRC2's Aaron Wilson, the Jaguars hosted Alabama wide receiver Jermaine Burton on Tuesday.

A former four-star and top-100 recruit out of high school, Burton originally committed to Georgia. He appeared in 10 games and started seven as a freshman, catching 27 passes for 404 yards and three touchdowns.

In 2021, Burton started eight games and appeared in 14, catching 26 passes for 497 yards and five touchdowns. Burton transferred to Alabama in 2022, leading the Crimson Tide with 40 catches for 677 yards and seven touchdowns in 13 games and 12 starts.

Burton again led Alabama in receiving in 2022, starting 12 games and catching 39 passes for 798 yards and eight touchdown passes.

"While the catch totals and yardage weren't necessarily prolific, Burton's tape is very appealing. He has pretty good size and plays bigger than he measures. He can fight through press, get physical at the break point and carve out space on 50/50 balls," NFL.com's Lance Zierlein said.

"Burton wasn't asked to run an extended route tree, but he has the traits and ball skills to work all three levels against NFL cornerbacks. He caught a touchdown pass every 5.7 grabs during his college career, but he would have scored even more if not for some mistimed throws when he had opened the window wide. Burton's athletic profile and ball skills create confidence that he can become a solid WR2/3 in the league."
