2023 NFL Draft: Jaguars Select Penn State WR Parker Washington at No. 185

The Jaguars have added to the offense with Penn State wide receiver Parker Washington.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have added another Penn State weapon to their offense, drafting Nittany Lions wide receiver Parker Washington at No. 185 in the sixth round. 

Washington is the third skill player the Jaguars have drafted in this class, following Penn State tight end Brenton Strange and Auburn running back Tank Bigsby. He is the first offensive player the Jaguars have drafted on Day 3 after four consecutive picks on defense. 

A four-star recruit in the 2020 class, Washington (5-foot-9, 204 pounds) was a three-year starter at Penn State, appearing in 32 games and starting 24. In three years, Washington caught 146 passes for 1,920 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Washington started all nine games in 2020, being named a freshman All-American as he caught 36 passes for 489 yards and six touchdowns. He appeared in 13 games in 2021, starting seven and catching 64 passes for 820 yards and four touchdowns. 

Washington returned in 2022, appearing in 10 games and starting eight as he led the team in receiving with 46 catches for 611 yards and two touchdowns.
