Jaguars Podcast: Previewing the Buccaneers
The Jacksonville Jaguars are once again in must-win territory.
This time, though, the Jaguars don't know if they are entering this territory with their starting quarterback.
Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is officially questionable for Sunday's Week 16 game vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a road game on Christmas Eve that could see the Jaguars either keep pace in the AFC South or lose their grip on the division.
"It seems like this a comfort level of theirs to play like this. That’s okay, as long as they go out and play well and compete, that’s all you can ask for and let the chips fall," Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said on Friday. "They’ve handled this week well, they’ve had a couple good days of preparation and it’s just a matter of just going and playing.”
“Yeah, last year was most recent, but going back to my former life, we had struggles during the season. We rebounded at the end. I’ve shared the story where we finished the season with four division games and we had to win them all to get into the postseason and we did. I’ve had experience from that side of it, I want the experience of having the lead and taking the lead and going. Either way, the bottom line is your guys are focused, they’re energized, they’re in a good frame of mind. You just trust them and go play.”
John discusses all of this and more in this week's episode of the Jaguar Report podcast.
