Trevor Lawrence Reaches 10,000 Career Passing Yards Milestone

Trevor Lawrence is the fourth player in franchise history to ever hit the mark.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence hit an important mark in Sunday's game vs. the Tennessee Titans.

During one of Lawrence's best performances of the season, the third-year quarterback officially became the third-youngest quarterback in NFL history to hit the 10,000-yard mark, behind Jameis Winston and Drew Bledsoe.

Lawrence is the fourth Jaguars quarterback to ever hit the mark, joining Mark Brunell, Blake Bortles and David Garrard.

More importantly, the mark came at home at EverBank Stadium. The Jaguars have struggled in front of their fans this season, going 1-3 in their first four home games and suffering two blowout losses to the Houston Texans and San Francisco 49ers.

“Yeah, I would say we’ve talked about it and we talk about it on Mondays after games and we talk about things we need to do better, the areas we’ve got to improve on. Part of that is being more explosive, creating more big plays, eliminating the negative plays, eliminating turnovers, all those things," Lawrence said this week.

"We all feel that sense of urgency because we all want to play great. We want to be successful, we want to show the type of offense and the type of players that we have. I feel like we really haven’t this season, minus a game or two or a series or two here and there. I think we all have that confidence in who we can be, but we haven’t done it yet. We can’t say that’s necessarily who we are yet because we haven’t done it. We feel that urgency and we know what we’re capable of, but we’ve got to figure out how to transfer all that and translate to Sunday. I got all the confidence, I’m not concerned about us not doing that, but we do need to do it. We need to play better offensively, we need to take over games, we need to not just rely on our defense to make the plays, we’ve got to start taking over some of these games and putting teams away and all of those things we’ve talked about from weeks prior, but continuing to be an emphasis.”
