Jaguars 2023 Schedule Released: Primetime Returns to Jacksonville

The Jaguars will have three primetime games in 2023, not counting their overseas series.

The Jacksonville Jaguars' 2023 regular season schedule has been officially released -- and primetime television has returned to Jacksonville.

The Jaguars will open the season on the road against an AFC South rival, traveling to face the Indianapolis Colts and No. 4 pick Anthony Richardson at 1 p.m. on Sept. 10.

Other highlights of the Jaguars' schedule include a Week 2 home opener vs. the Kansas City Chiefs at 1 p.m. on Sept. 17; a Week 7 Thursday Night Football tilt against the New Orleans Saints at 8:15 p.m. on Oct. 19; a Week 13 Monday Night Football matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals and 2020 No. 1 pick Joe Burrow at 8:15 p.m. on Dec. 4; a Week 15 Sunday Night Football battle against the Baltimore Ravens at 8:20 p.m. on Dec 17; and a New Years Eve matchup against No. 1 pick Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers in Week 17.

The Jaguars' bye week is set for Week 9, which comes after back-to-back road trips to New Orleans and Pittsburgh. The Jaguars will close the season with a road game vs. the Tennessee Titans, similar to the Jaguars' 2022 regular season ending vs the Titans in Jacksonville.

The Jaguars haven't played on "Monday Night Football" since 2011 and "Sunday Night Football" since 2008, reflecting a major shift in the league's view of the Jaguars' ability to draw an audience -- especially since both matchups will be home games for the Jaguars.
