As the Jaguars continue to prepare for their week one clash with the Kansas City Chiefs, they are bringing new faces in to fill out the practice squad. The Jaguars had six players signed to the practice squad to start the day, but the team announced multiple signings throughout the day and was at a full squad of 10 by the end of the day.

Players added to the practice squad Monday include:

  • Defensive tackle Eli Ankou:
  • Quarterback Chase Litton:
  • Linebacker Deshaun Davis:
  • Wide receiver Keelan Doss:
  • Offensive tackle Blake Hance:

The five additions joined offensive lineman Ka'John Armstrong, cornerback Tae Hayes, tight end Charles Jones, cornerback Brandon Watson and wide receiver Michael Walker on the practice squad. Running back Elijah Hood was released to make room for Ankou.

Ankou is not a surprise addition considering the fact that he has been on active gameday rosters for the current regime in the past. Litton was the much-anticpated quarterback add after spending 2018 on the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad in his rookie season.
