Jaguars vs. Titans: Week 11 Snap Count Analysis

Which Jaguars played the most snaps during Sunday's 34-14 win over the Titans, and why?

While watching a game live can give you one impression of a player's usage, looking at the actual amount of snaps they played compared to their teammates can also give insight into the team's strategy and outlook.

When looking at the snap counts for the Jacksonville Jaguars after their 34-14 win over the Tennessee Titans at home, it is clear to see what kind of plan the Jaguars went into the game with, and what limitations they had from a personnel standpoint.

Who played a lot, and why? Did the snaps mean anything or nothing? We examine below:

Offense (71 snaps)

  • C Luke Fortner: 71 (100%)
  • RT Anton Harrison: 71 (100%)
  • RG Brandon Scherff: 63 (89%)
  • LT Cam Robinson: 63 (89%)
  • QB Trevor Lawrence: 63 (89%)
  • WR Calvin Ridley: 57 (80%)
  • WR Christian Kirk: 54 (76%)
  • LG Walker Little: 52 (73%)
  • RB Travis Etienne: 47 (66%)
  • TE Evan Engram: 45 (63%)
  • WR Zay Jones: 45 (63%)
  • TE Luke Farrell: 28 (39%)
  • TE Brenton Strange: 27 (38%)
  • LG Ezra Cleveland: 19 (27%)
  • RB D'Ernest Johnson: 17 (24%)
  • WR Tim Jones: 14 (20%)
  • WR Parker Washington: 10 (14%)
  • RB Tank Bigsby: 10 (14%)
  • OL Blake Hance: 9 (13%)
  • OL Tyler Shatley: 8 (11%)
  • QB C.J. Beathard: 8 (11%)
  1. Despite the Jaguars being up 27-0 at one point, Tank Bigsby didn't see the field much until the final minutes of the game. He saw just one carry before the game's final drive and was out-snapped by D'Ernest Johnson for the second week in a row.
  2. Zay Jones got through a complete game without injury for just the second time this season, playing 45 snaps until the Jaguars put in their backups for the final eight snaps of the game.
  3. Ezra Cleveland played 11 snaps on the third drive of the game, rotating at left guard with Walker Little before being pulled until the final drive of the game.

Defense (40 snaps)

  • ILB Foyesade Oluokun: 39 (98%)
  • ILB Devin Lloyd: 39 (98%)
  • SS Rayshawn Jenkins: 39 (98%)
  • FS Andre Cisco: 38 (95%)
  • CB Montaric Brown: 38 (95%)
  • CB Darious Williams: 37 (92%)
  • OLB Travon Walker: 28 (70%)
  • OLB Josh Allen: 28 (70%)
  • DL Roy Robertson-Harris: 23 (57%)
  • CB Tre Herndon: 21 (52%)
  • DL Dawuane Smoot: 20 (50%)
  • DL Adam Gotsis: 19 (48%)
  • DL Jeremiah Ledbetter: 15 (38%)
  • OLB K'Lavon Chaisson: 13 (32%)
  • DL Foley Fatukasi: 13 (32%)
  • DL Angelo Blackson: 11 (28%)
  • DL Tyler Lacy: 9 (22%)
  • SS Andrew Wingard: 3 (8%)
  • ILB Chad Muma: 2 (5%)
  • ILB Shaq Quarterman: 2 (5%)
  • FS Daniel Thomas: 1 (2%)
  • FS Antonio Johnson: 1 (2%)
  • CB Greg Junior: 1 (2%)
  1. The Jaguars went with Montaric Brown over Gregory Junior at starting cornerback in place of Tyson Campbell. It was an interesting move since Brown was a healthy scratch the week before, which meant Junior was at least in front of him on the depth chart last week. This time around, though, Junior got the nod, making his third start.
  2. Foley Fatukasi interestingly was fourth in defensive line snaps despite continuing his strong season against the run. It has been a recent trend as of late for him to get snaps behind Adam Gotsis and Jeremiah Ledbetter.
