Jacksonville Jaguars rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew has become a cult figure in the NFL after three appearances  under center for the Jaguars, and his legend grew even more last week when he told a story on the Pardon My Take podcast about how he tried to break his own hand during his time at ECU.

Minshew said he was simply trying to get a medical redshirt so he could continue to play as much football as possible. On Wednesday, he reflected even more on that moment in his life and why he did it.
