Taylor and The Swifties Shouldn't Sleep on the Jets
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were seen leaving The Waverly Inn in NYC Sunday. Shortly after being spotted with the pop music icon by the New York Post and the Today Show, the Kansas City Chiefs' tight end went solo to the Jets vs. Eagles game at MetLife Stadium.
So, the question that begets everyone right now is, how could T. Swift possibly skip out on witnessing this EPIC Jets win at MetLife? Could it be that (gasp!) she is an Eagles fan?!
Well . . . let me elaborate. Rumor has it that T. Swift is, in fact, a Philadelphia Eagles fan.
The proof? In her song called “Gold Rush,” she refers to an Eagles t-shirt that she has.
A lot of people thought she may be referring to the music group UNTIL she cleared things up for us back in May of this year on her ERAS tour. The crowd in Philly lost it when T. Swift gave a very public confirmation saying, “I’m from Philly, of course (the Eagles reference) is to the team.”
Swift was at MetLife Stadium on October 1 to watch Kelce and the Chiefs battle the Jets on Sunday Night Football. She performed three shows there back in May and Jets' quarterback Aaron Rodgers was in attendance.
So, are we now talking about a football love triangle between the Chiefs, the Eagles and the Jets?
After last night's first-ever win by the Jets over the previously-undefeated Eagles, will T. Swift consider switching sides? The answer to that, of course, is an emphatic NO!
After all, T. Swift has always been an Eagles' fan. Then, there's the fact that Kelce's brother, Jason, plays for the Eagles so I would imagine that she wouldn’t want to upset Momma Kelce, who has been seen with Swift in an NFL luxury suite on multiple occasions.
Time will eventually tell us where T. Swift's loyalties lie in the three-team NFL love triangle that's developing. One thing is for sure, the Jets made the streets of New York City shimmer on Sunday night just like Kelce and T. Swift’s fall-ready “Couple Style” fashion.
