WATCH: Most glaring Week 2 numbers for New York Jets

Let's take another look back at New York's 23-3 loss to the Cleveland Browns; this time by the numbers.

Another week, another loss, and another quarterback down. The New York Jets (0-2) were unable to right the ship and put their offensive woes behind them on Monday Night Football, suffering a humiliating 23-3 loss at the hands of the Cleveland Browns (1-1).

To make matters worse, New York’s quarterback situation is even more uncertain now that Trevor Siemian is out for the season with an ankle injury and Luke Falk, who was recently signed off the practice squad, is the only healthy quarterback remaining on its roster.

The undermanned Jets will face their toughest test of the year in Week 3: A road tilt with the New England Patriots (2-0) that many expect to be a one-sided affair.

However, before we focus our attention on New York’s matchup against the defending Super Bowl champions, let’s take one last look back at Week 2; this time, by the numbers.

-7

With Siemian under center, New York finished the first quarter with -7 yards passing, the third-lowest first-quarter total the team has recorded in the last decade.

1

Luke Falk made his first professional appearance against Cleveland on Monday night and gave Jets fans a glimpse of what Gase’s offense is capable of when everything is clicking. The sophomore signal-caller completed 20 of his 25 attempts on the night for 198 yards passing and a 99.7 passer rating.

Jamal Adams committed the first roughing the passer penalty of his career with a late hit on Cleveland quarterback Baker Mayfield in the middle of the first quarter.

3

Siemian finished the first quarter with just three yards passing, the lowest single-quarter total of his career.

Once Falk entered the game in relief of Siemian, the Jets became the first team to play three different quarterbacks in their first two games of the season since the 2009 Carolina Panthers.

4

The Jets completed just four passes in the first half of Monday night’s game, all of which were caught behind the line of scrimmage.

10

Le’Veon Bell caught 10 passes for 61 yards receiving against the Browns Monday night, marking his fourth career game with double-digit receptions.

12

Bell was heavily utilized against the Browns and was responsible for nearly half (49 percent) of New York’s total yardage on the night, racking up 68 yards on the ground and 61 yards through the air. Monday night was the 12th time in Bell’s career in which he recorded 60-plus yards rushing and 60-plus yards receiving in a single game.

16

Bell took two direct snaps out of the Wildcat formation Monday night, increasing his career total to 16.

26

New York failed to score an opening drive touchdown for the 26th consecutive game.

109.7

Falk may have established some chemistry with wideout Robby Anderson on Monday night, recording a 109.7 passer rating when targeting the 26-year-old burner throughout the evening.

161

I think it’s safe to say that Gregg Williams knows who Odell Beckham Jr. is now. Cleveland’s No. 1 receiver racked up 161 yards through the air on Monday night, 36 more yards than the entire Jets receiving corps combined (125 yards receiving).

199

Falk was drafted by the Tennessee Titans with 199th overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft and is only the second quarterback in NFL history to be selected with that pick. The other? Six-time Super Bowl champion and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

2005

Gang Green didn’t complete a single pass for a first down in the first half of play, marking the first time since the 2005 season (Week 17 against the Patriots) that New York failed to do so.
