It'll be the third preseason game this summer for the New York Jets, but the first one at home.

After kicking off the entire NFL Preseason against the Cleveland Browns in the Hall of Fame Game on August 3 in Canton, the Jets traveled to the Carolina Panthers for an August 12 exhibition contest.

On Saturday, Gang Green hosts the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.

The two teams squared off during a joint practice on Wednesday, but went their separate ways on Thursday after initial plans called for joint sessions on back-to-back days. There was more than a handful of scuffles that unfolded between the Jets and Bucs in Florham Park, creating some intrigue heading into gameday.

"It’s hot. You guys know me, I joke around, but it is what it is," said Jets' head coach Robert Saleh following the heated session. "Keep it below the neck, above the waist, and at the same time, if you want to get a little extra conditioning in and have a little skirmish of pushing and shoving."

The August 19 affair will kick off at 7:30 pm ET and will be carried live by WCBS in the New York media market. Out of market fans will have to subscribe to NFL+ to watch this one live.

As for which Jets will be active on Saturday, head coach Robert Saleh ruled out Aaron Rodgers earlier in the week. Zach Wilson will get the start at quarterback.

"Very similar to last game. A couple more defensive guys will play, but that same plan for the offense," said Saleh revealing his intentions on Thursday.

Gang Green was listed as a 3.5-point betting favorite by SI Sportsbook, as of early Saturday morning. The Jets are 1-1 ATS (against the spread) this summer, evening their record with a 27-0 shutout of the Panthers.

Tampa Bay lost its preseason opener, a 27-17 decision to the Pittsburgh Steelers on August 11.
