The 2024 NFL draft is quickly approaching, and it's an important one for the New York Jets as they try to capitalize on having Aaron Rodgers.

They also have a couple of holes they need to fill and will only be able to do so two picks during the first two days.

Here is a full seven-round mock draft for the Jets:

Round 1, Pick 10: WR Rome Odunze, Washington

Tackle has been a popular selection here for New York, but after making moves for starters on each end, they can spend their draft value elsewhere.

Odunze ending up on the board for the Jets is almost a perfect case scenario, but the team could really end up with any of the receivers here. Garrett Wilson is a certified star, but they need more help behind him. Mike Williams was an interesting offseason pick up, but it was just a one-year deal and he is coming off of an injury.

If they preferred Brian Thomas Jr.'s speed, that would be another solid selection here.

Round 3, Pick 10: C Sedrick Van Pran, Georgia

They addressed the tackles, yes, but more work needs to be done to protect Aaron Rodgers. Van Pran started for three seasons in the SEC as one of the best interior lineman in the country. He earned two All-SEC bids while winning two National Championships.

Round 4, Pick 111: DL Mekhi Wingo, LSU

Wingo was one of the lone bright spots on a horrible LSU defense last season. He greatly improved as a pass rusher throughout his career, while showcasing strong run defense and a high motor. He flashed at the NFL combine with a 4.85 40-yard dash.

The biggest downside to his game, by far, is that he is undersized at 6-foot and 284 pounds. He has the talent of a Day 1 or Day 2 selection, but will probably fall because of worries over his size.

Round 6, Pick 185: HB Kimani Vidal, Troy

New York has tried a couple of things behind Breece Hall, including a short Dalvin Cook stint, but they are still searching for a definite answer behind their star running back.

Vidal was ultra-productive in college with 4,010 career rushing yards and 33 touchdowns, while only having two full seasons as the primary back. He's 5-foot-7 but can still pack a punch at a dense 213 pounds.

Round 7, Pick 256: QB Austin Reed, Western Kentucky

It might not be too bad of an idea to think about what's behind Rodgers. Right now, it's Tyrod Taylor and Zach Wilson. The team could take a flier on a quarterback in the later rounds just to let them come to camp and compete.

Reed had 8,086 passing yards with 77 touchdowns to 22 interceptions in two seasons at Western Kentucky. It's the same high-powered efficiency-focused offense that Bailey Zappe came from.

Round 7, Pick 257: TE Jack Westover, Washington

Westover took on a bigger role in the offense later in his Washington career, but really made a name for himself as a blocker. He's a good enough blocker to earn a roster spot, but could also develop into a red zone threat.
