Jets Leaving ESPN New York; New Radio Home?
Everyone is excited to see what an Aaron Rodgers offense truly looks like for the New York Jets, but sometimes plans come up on Sundays.
Fans in transit on Sunday afternoons had reliably been able to put on ESPN Radio, a relationship that began in 2022.
After two decades, fans will have to turn the dial in search of Jets football on the radio.
According to Andrew Marchand’s reporting, New York has found its new radio home.
“The Jets’ games will be broadcast on classic rock station 104.3 FM beginning this fall,” he wrote for The Athletic. “Bob Wischusen and Marty Lyons are expected to continue to call games.”
As New York rebuilds its supporting cast in hopes of a deep playoff run, ESPN is adjusting its strategy, too, leaving its FM signal behind.
Classic rock might not be the first place fans think of for their football. Those looking for a jam session may be surprised, but New York hopes to play an exciting brand of football in 2024. Quality play under center will be a refreshing start to those aspirations.

Making good on those goals means hitting on the 10th overall pick and using their cap space wisely. The league’s salary cap boost will help make life easier, but with holes along the offensive line and receiver, general manager Joe Douglas has his work cut out for him.
If nothing else, Jets fans can hope to hear their commentators gushing over the defense as they drive along the Garden State Parkway. Defense isn’t always replicable year-over-year, but the league’s best cornerback trio and a strong duo of inside linebackers help make the unit more sustainable.
