'People So Weird!' Jets' Sauce Gardner Calls Out Social Media Hacker
While the innovation of technology, specifically social media, has provided so many new avenues that once seemed impossible, those improvements have obvious downsides. Current New York Jets star cornerback Sauce Gardner is dealing with one of those downsides.
In a series of tweets on Sunday, Gardner revealed that he was dealing with a hacker who had taken control of his Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, and email.
"Somebody just DM'd me sending pictures from my snap when I was in college," Gardner wrote. "GGs. People be so weird around the world lol. Some of y'all really need help. ...
"Whoever this is doesn’t leave his computer. I had to get another phone and number because whoever this is hacked my Twitter, IG, and emails. I never thought to change my snap password and here we are now."
The former first-round cornerback went on to warn his fans to be wary of what links they click as it could lead to their accounts being hacked.

The technological inconvenience comes after another strong season from Gardner, where he earned the honors of being named a first-team All-Pro for the second straight year. Gardner did so, totaling 57 tackles, two tackles for a loss, one forced fumble, and 11 passes defended.
Now, as he prepares for his third season in the league, he will also look to make sure he keeps his personal social media accounts on lockdown in addition to his opponents.
