WATCH: Jets RB Le'Veon Bell to undergo MRI for shoulder soreness
Jets coach Adam Gase announced running back Le'Veon Bell will undergo an MRI for shoulder soreness.
Bell will miss Thursday's practice but Gase is hopefully he'll play in the Monday Night Football matchup vs. the Browns.
This comes in light of the news that wide receiver Quincy Enunwa (neck) will miss the remainder of the season and quarterback Sam Darnold (mono) is out vs. the Browns and possibly until Week 5 vs. the Philadelphia Eagles.
Bell played his first game in 603 days in Week 1, finishing with 60 yards on 17 carries and six receptions for 32 yards.
If the three-time Pro Bowl running back is forced to sit out vs. the Browns, Gase could elect to employ a committee approach with Ty Montgomery, Bilal Powell and Trenton Cannon.
Those are all solid options but obviously the Jets would rather have their $52.5 million star on the field.
In other injury news, C.J. Mosley (groin), Quinnen Williams (ankle) and Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) will all miss Thursday's practice.
