What Jets Are Saying About Undefeated Eagles ahead of Sunday's Clash
The New York Jets will host one of the NFL's two remaining undefeated teams in Week 6.
The Philadelphia Eagles, who are 5-0 for the second year in a row, enter MetLife Stadium as 6.5-point road favorites over the Jets. Philadelphia is 22-1 over the last 23 regular season games started by quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Featuring the league's top-ranked run defense and second-ranked rushing offense, the Eagles are another tough test for the 2-3 Jets, who have already faced the Super Bowl LVII champion Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills.
From their style of play to the challenges they present, here's what Gang Green players and coaches had to say about Sunday's opponent.
Nathaniel Hackett, Offensive coordinator
"There’s a reason why they’re, if not the best, maybe the second best. Their defensive line, their secondary, their linebackers. They’re playing at an unbelievably high level. So, there’s so many different facets. It’s going to be a major challenge for us."
Breece Hall, RB
"Every game you're looking at coming out and winning. So I guess just because they're undefeated doesn't really play a factor in motivating us to win. We want to go out and win every week regardless of who we're playing."
Robert Saleh, Head coach
"They’ve got playmakers all over the place. It’s as talented a group as I’ve seen in a long time. ... There’s a reason why they were the NFC champs and that close to winning a Super Bowl. It’s going to be a challenge."
Jeff Ulbrich, Defensive coordinator
"Goodness gracious. There is no secret why they went to the NFC championship game, why they went to the Super Bowl, why they’re 5-0. A tremendous team that is talented at all three levels. They’re an absolute pain in the butt. It’s not only talent, but schematically they challenge you a lot of different ways. They do a lot of stuff that, it’s just not common in NFL football. That’s a lot more prevalent in the college game."

Quinnen Williams, DT
"They got a great offensive line. They've been having the same offensive line probably the past five, six years. You can tell they're firing on all cylinders. They got an amazing quarterback. He can run. They got an amazing running back in [Deandre] Swift."
Garrett Wilson, WR
"This is a huge challenge for us, biggest challenge of the year, with that front seven and the way the DB group plays behind it. Coaching, the experience they have, this will great challenge for us. As competitors, we look forward to this opportunity."
Zach Wilson, QB
"These guys are obviously really good. A lot of players all the way around. Obviously, the big guys up front, too. I think I remember playing them my rookie year, and they talk a lot. As a quarterback, that is exciting because those guys are getting after it."
