Early Detroit Lions 2024 Win Total Odds Revealed
The Detroit Lions are expected by many popular sportsbooks to have a successful 2024 NFL season.
Oddsmakers are setting the win total at 10.5 (-110), a full game higher than what was projected last season.
Head coach Dan Campbell, who has watched the second half collapse in the NFC Championship game with the coaching staff, indicated the team's approach will be similar heading into a new season.
While the team is hoping to avoid complacency, there is a high level of confidence that the makeup of the roster understands what traps to avoid.
“No, I think the approach is very much the same. I alluded to this a little bit earlier today, but the two things that keep me focused are entitlement and complacency," said Campbell at the annual league meetings. "Those are the two things that keep me on guard. That is what nobody in this organization including me, the players, if we fall (in the) trap to any one of those we will not get back to where we were last year. We won’t have a chance and so I just keep my eyes fixated on that.
Campbell continued, “We have the right core foundation, we know that, but we have to start back over from scratch. We can’t let anything slide. We can’t say, ‘Oh we know this guy, he’ll be okay.’ There is no okay. You’ve got to do it the same way you did it last year. You start over and you do all the little things the right way.”
