Amon-Ra St. Brown Has Message For Fantasy Football Owners

It might be in your best interest to draft Amon-Ra St. Brown in fantasy football.
In this story:

Detroit Lions wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown may not still understand the infatuation NFL fans have with fantasy football.

Early in his career with the Lions, the targets did not come his way under former offensive coordinator Anthony Lynn.

Appearing on the "Pardon My Take" podcast, the former fourth-round pick recalled a game in which Detroit traveled on the road to play the Los Angeles Rams

With many friends and family in attendance, St. Brown revealed he was not targeted at all by Jared Goff

But knowing all he needed was an opportunity, St. Brown remained patient and had a standout game his rookie season against the Minnesota Vikings.

Since then, St. Brown has been one of the most targeted receivers in the league.

The 23-year-old recalled a widely publicized direct message he received from a fantasy football owner who demanded perfection or that he run a mile every time he made a mistake out on the football field.

"I get so many fantasy messages. It's actually insane," St. Brown said. "I don't understand what the big deal is, why people are so obsessed with fantasy."

After the hosts joked the media and fans pay his salary, the talented wideout revealed what his message would be for fantasy owners this season.

"Shoot, my message is, 'If you pick me, you will be in good hands.' That's about it."

St. Brown does not care when a fantasy owner selects him, just as long as he ends up on a fantasy roster.

"I'm gonna be honest. I haven't had that many bad games in my career," St. Brown noted. "I get targeted a lot."

Meaning, quickly move up St. Brown in your rankings, especially if you are playing in a PPR league.
