Amon-Ra St. Brown Questionable with Illness

The wideout is uncertain to play on Monday night.

The Detroit Lions announced an update to their injury report ahead of their Week 8 showdown with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown was added to the game status report, and listed as questionable with an illness.

St. Brown has been Detroit's leading receiver this season, catching 51 passes for 557 yards and three touchdowns through seven games. The wideout has missed one game this season, which came in Detroit's Week 5 win over Carolina.

Both David Montgomery and Jonah Jackson have already been ruled out of the game, while center Frank Ragnow was listed as doubtful. Several other players, including Malcolm Rodriguez and Halapoulivaati Vaitai, were listed as questionable.

Cornerback Jerry Jacobs is expected to return to action Sunday, after missing last week's game. With the team already missing Emmanuel Moseley due to a season-ending injury, Jacobs has been a key part of the secondary.

He and Cam Sutton have shouldered the majority of the responsibility at the position. Facing a Las Vegas team with two standout receivers in Jakobi Meyers and Davante Adams, the duo will be tested.

“Yeah, and I’ll tell you what, man, both of those guys, they’ve had an unbelievable week," Campbell said. "These last two days have been outstanding, they’ve been outstanding. I was so fired up on Wednesday -- well Thursday, today’s Saturday, OK. And then yesterday, I just thought it was great, man. Our third-down work and watching those guys out there competing, it was -- watching the back-end, it was, man, it was awesome. And, we’ve had a good week of practice, we really have.”

Note

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins left Sunday's game against Green Bay with an ankle injury. He suffered what appeared to be a non-contact injury, and was ruled out.
