Amon-Ra St. Brown Rocks Brand New Blue Hair Color
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown decided it was time for a change.
No, Detroit's third-year wideout did not change his wardrobe or make a splash purchase after closing out the regular season.
Instead, St. Brown, who shined in the Lions' season finale against the Vikings, dyed his hair blue on Monday.
Recall, St. Brown rocked a blond look inspired by Dennis Rodman his rookie season.
The reception online has been mostly positive.
Against the Vikings, the talented wideout took his frustrations, due to being snubbed for the Pro Bowl, out on Detroit's division rival.
He was on the receiving end of a deep pass from Jared Goff in the fourth quarter that turned into a 70-yard touchdown, plus extended Detroit's lead to 27-13.
"Yeah, it was crazy. All week I was actually supposed to be on the inside on the sail route that Josh Reynolds had, and we tried to get Josh – that was supposed to go to the inside guy, and we were trying to get Josh involved all game," said St. Brown. "We know he has some incentives and whatnot. So, before we go out there, we’re like, we’re going to switch you and Josh.
St. Brown explained further, "So, I’m going to go out wide, run the post that doesn’t get the ball. Josh is going to run the sail route, and so, we get out there and they’re in this sort of Cover 2. I outside release on the corner, and the safety just starts running toward the middle. I’m like, ‘Let me not run a post, I’m just going to sit here, (and) I’m wide open.' And, Jared (Goff) saw it, he threw it and then the rest is just I’m going to go over and try to score.”
