Amon-Ra St. Brown Epically Trolls Green Bay Packers
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown caught the attention of Green Bay Packers fans on Tuesday afternoon.
Given the opportunity to program NFL Network, Detroit's third-year wide receiver decided to replay the Packers’ heartbreaking 2014 NFC title game loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
According to many Packers fans, the loss stings more than any other defeat in franchise history.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel recalled, "In that game, Green Bay allowed allowed 15 Seahawks points in the final 2:09, leading to a 28-22 overtime loss that will sting forever. At the center of fans' memories, of course, is a botched onside kick with 2:07 to go in the fourth quarter. Brandon Bostick, whose instructions were to allow Jordy Nelson to retrieve the kick, inexplicably jumped for it and lost it, allowing Seattle to recover and set up for a go-ahead touchdown."
NFL Draft analyst Marcus Whitman believed the selection was one of the "greatest trolls" from a rival that he has ever seen.
"Amon Ra St-Brown picking the Packers with one of, if not the greatest Playoff collapses in NFL history for his 'Players Choice' game on NFL Network is one of the greatest trolls from a rival player I think I've ever seen," Whitman opined.
