Bold Prediction: Amon-Ra St. Brown Scores Three Touchdowns

Lions wideout has bounce-back game against Bears.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown was double-teamed all game against the New Orleans Saints.

As a result, Detroit's third-year wideout was limited to two receptions, on six targets, for 49 yards and a touchdown.

It was the first game of 2023 where Ben Johnson's top offensive weapon recorded less than five catches and 50 yards, and being targeted six times was also far below his weekly average.

Even though St. Brown was clearly frustrated with how the game went for him personally, he has faith that the other playmakers on the roster will step up and make plays, if he is the focal point of opposing defenses.

“It’s both: frustration and respect,” St. Brown told reporters this week. “I still want to do my thing and help my team win. But, I respect it, you know, they want to double me. They can double me all they want, we got other guys that can go make a play.”

This week, our bold prediction is that St. Brown will rebound and find the end zone at least three times, allowing Detroit to secure its 10th victory of the season.

If St. Brown has a big game, he will also have the benefit of gloating about it on his podcast, one which features his brother, Equanimeous, as his co-host.

“This week, I’m going to be thinking about it (the podcast) on the sideline, for sure when we’re playing them,” St. Brown expressed. “Because I remember last time we played them, I was like, ‘Oh, s**t, this podcast might get ugly.’ But, we ended up winning, coming out on top, so it was good. This week, I’m not going to -- I might have said a little, but we still got to take care of business before I can say anything.”
