Brothers Osborne to Perform on Thanksgiving Day

The Lions have announced their halftime performer for their Thanksgiving Day clash with the Chicago Bears.
Drumroll, please ... it's country music group Brothers Osborne.
The group consists of actual brothers T.J. Osborne and John Osborne, both of whom are natives of Deale, Md.
John is the main instrumentalist of the group, while T.J. is the lead vocalist.

The duo currently reigns as the three-time Country Music Association Awards Vocal Duo of the Year.
Additionally, the siblings have collected four CMAs and five Academy of Country Music Awards trophies, including Video of the Year wins for their top-10, GRAMMY-nominated Platinum single “It Ain’t My Fault.”
Based on the comments on Twitter, many fans weren't happy with the selection of the country music group to perform at halftime on Thanksgiving Day.
Fans wanted something more mainstream, with names of desired performers ranging from Detroit's own Eminem to legendary Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne.
Maybe those fans will get their wish next year.
For now, though, there's something more important to worry about and be upset with: the lackluster product on the field.
The Lions, losers of four of their last five, stand at 3-4-1 and in third place in the NFC North going into Sunday.
They direly need to beat the Bears.
If they don't, Matt Patricia & Co. have much bigger issues on their hands than worrying about who's performing on Thanksgiving.
And Lions' fans, you should feel the same way about this organization headed into its Week 10 matchup with the divisional rival Bears.
