C.J. Gardner-Johnson Not Impressed With Madden Rating

The safety was not pleased with the video game's assessment of his skills.

Each year, the ratings EA Sports assigns to players in their "Madden" video game brings about copious amounts of online reactions. 

Ahead of the release of the latest edition of the popular video game, it was no different for Detroit Lions safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson. 

As part of its roll out of the player ratings, EA Sports released its assessments of the NFL's wide receivers and safeties. 

Gardner-Johnson is the 20th highest rated safety in the game at an 84 overall.

Last season, with the Philadelphia Eagles, the safety tied for the league lead in interceptions with six. He gave his opinion on his mark in a social media post Monday afternoon. 

The talented safety has been also weighing in on cornerback rankings of various publications, as he has been debating Sauce Gardner regarding his No. 2 overall ranking by NFL pundits.

Wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown was the highest rated Lion revealed Monday at an 87 overall. He's the 19th-rated wideout in the game. 

Jameson Williams' 98 speed rating ranked second among players revealed and will surely be one of the highest in the game. 

Throughout the week, EA Sports will be announcing their ratings. Two positions will be revealed each day, with EDGE rushers and defensive linemen scheduled for Tuesday.
