Damon "Snacks" Harrison expressed disappointment regarding the defensive numbers for himself and the entire Lions defense during Monday's media session.

He discussed a number of issues, including the Lions' defense, his performance this season and his thoughts on N.Y. Giants star running back Saquon Barkley.

What are some of the issues he is seeing?

"Technique issues, just have to be more physical up front," Harrison said. "I have to do a better job in the middle and at getting some of those plays that I am used to making that I am not making this year."

Harrison expressed that despite teams scheming to limit him, he has also seen it in the past, and it should not be limiting his production.

He noted, "We are just not making plays that we are supposed to make. Let's just say that teams are doing a good job of making sure that I am accounted for. That hasn't stopped me in the past, and I don't see why it should stop me now."

When asked if he was disappointed that it has taken this many games into the season for him to experience success, Harrison replied, "Yeah, especially when in my entire career, that is the only thing I have been known for. To see the numbers where they are is very disappointing."

On Giants RB Saquon Barkley

Harrison talked about how special the second-year running back is.

"He (Barkley) is big, fast and strong, and can catch the ball out of the backfield," Harrison commented. "He can do just about everything on the football field, including lining up at receiver. I am pretty sure he can play quarterback, too. He is just one heck of an athlete."
