Detroit Lions 2024 NFL Combine Visit Tracker

Who will Lions meet with during week in Indianapolis?
In this story:

The NFL Scouting Combine offers many opportunities for NFL executives, coaches and Draft prospects.

During the week, prospects have the chance to perform in front of evaluators in a number of tests and drills, both general and position specific. Additionally, teams are allotted a number of interview slots in Indianapolis.

Teams are assigned a specific number of formal interviews and can only conduct such meetings for a certain time slot.

The Detroit Lions, led by general manager Brad Holmes and coach Dan Campbell, view the Combine as an opportunity to confirm what they've seen on tape when it comes to the physical evaluations.

Additionally, they relish the opportunity to interview talented players and evaluate whether they feel the prospects would be a good fit for the culture they've established.

Detroit currently holds the No. 29 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, which is the lowest Brad Holmes has had a selection on the first day of the event.

On Tuesday, reports surfaced that Western Michigan edge rusher Marshawn Kneeland had conducted a formal visit with the Lions early in the Combine process. Kneeland has 28 career tackles for loss and 12.5 sacks in his career with the Broncos.

The NFL Scouting Combine will run through March 5, with on-field workouts beginning Thursday, Feb. 29.  A total of 321 total prospects were invited to participate.

Among those who have elected not to participate in the on-field testing include top quarterback prospects Caleb Williams and Drake Maye, along with wide receivers Marvin Harrison Jr. and Malik Nabers.
