Everybody Is Saying Same Thing about Penei Sewell
It is no secret Detroit Lions right tackle Penei Sewell is freakishly athletic.
In Week 14 against the Vikings, Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson decided that Sewell should be the target on third-and-9 at a critical juncture of the game.
Thanks to Sewell’s reception and his awareness to stay in bounds, the Lions took the necessary time off the clock. Detroit ended up defeating the Vikings, 34-23, at Ford Field.

During the 2023 Pro Bowl Games, Sewell participated in the Gridiron Gauntley event Sunday afternoon.
According to the League, "The gridiron gauntlet is a side-by-side relay race that will highlight players' speed and agility as they climb walls, go under tables, navigate a tire run and push a blocking sled with a coach upon it."
Sewell was able to kick off things for the NFC, and demonstrated his speed and strength, barreling through the walls before other teammates went on to earn the victory in the event.
The win added three points to the NFC's tally.
Supporters immediately took notice of Sewell and what he is able to achieve on the field.
"If he wasn't one of the best run blockers in the league, we could give him goal-line touches," one supporter posted on social media.
"We need this man to get the ball more, he's fast 'asf,'" posted one viewer.
Another posted expressing, "Give this man goal-line touches."
