Friday Injury Report: Decker Doubtful, Paschal, Moseley Out
Heading into the game against the Seattle Seahawks at Ford Field, Emmanuel Moseley, Josh Paschal and Kahlil Dorsey have been ruled out, while Taylor Decker was listed as doubtful.
The Lions are currently in a position to be able to withstand a couple of early injuries.
With defensive lineman Josh Paschal suffering an "episode" at practice this week, Detroit's defensive line depth will be tested.
"Here's the good news, man, we've got some depth," Dan Campbell explained. "We've got depth. We've got (Isaiah) Buggs, we've got Romeo (Okwara), so we've got options, which is good."
Despite not getting home and recording a plethora of sacks against Patrick Mahomes last week, Detroit's defense maintained their composure and were disciplined for the majority of the game.
Lions Notebook: Will Gibbs, Montgomery Play More Together?
"I’m proud of the way our guys -- the discipline as far as how we rushed him. And sometimes, sacks can be overrated. Now, I like sacks. I do, everybody does, but the discipline is what I like more because that carries over into the next couple of weeks on how you have to rush the quarterback and those sacks are going to come," said Aaron Glenn. "And with this game and our guys seeing how we operate this game, I think they’re in belief of how we have to win games and they understand that. There are some positives also that our guys saw going into the following week.”
