Lions Fans Experience Ecstasy, Agony Due to Horrible NFL Officials

Video reactions online to Lions getting hosed by NFL officials.

One of the best aspects of being a supporter of an NFL team is gathering with friends and family to root for a victory.

For the Detroit Lions, the 2023 regular season will be remembered as being one of the most enjoyable and thrilling 18 weeks, following a gritty and resilient group of players.

The NFL scheduled the Lions and Dallas Cowboys to appear in primetime, in front of a nationally-televised audience, Saturday.

Fans viewed this contest as an opportunity to decipher whether the 2023 Lions were really contenders or just the beneficiary of playing a favorable schedule against teams headed in the wrong direction.

After the Lions battled and marched down the field late in the fourth quarter, Jared Goff found Amon-Ra St. Brown for a touchdown.

Prior to the drive, most supporters understood there was a very strong chance that head coach Dan Campbell would continue his aggressiveness and call a two-point try, as opposed to kicking the extra point.

After scoring, the ultimate drama ensued.

Detroit's offense lined up, needing just one play to take the lead against the Cowboys on the road.

Could the team actually be the No. 1 or No. 2 seed this year?

Supporters screamed, yelled and let out primal roars after they thought left tackle Taylor Decker successfully caught the two-point attempt from Goff.

But, alas, the cruel nature of NFL officiating reared its ugly head.

Fans were left stunned that what should have been a defining win for the Lions, turned into a loss that could have significant ramifications for Detroit's chances of success in the postseason.

Here are videos of Lions supporters experiencing sheer joy at the thought Detroit was on the verge of defeating Dallas, only to have their excitement dashed.
