Joel Dahmen is in the field this week at the Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit.

The popular golfer may be shelling out some cash this week to repay fans of the Detroit Lions at Detroit Golf Club.

The Seattle Seahawks earned a playoff berth in 2022 in the final week of the regular season.

After a 19-16 overtime victory against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 18, the Seahawks had to count on the Lions-Packers finale on Sunday Night Football to discover if they would be playing in the postseason.

A Lions road victory or tie would send Seattle to the playoffs.

After a one-year absence, the Seahawks finished second in the division, and went on to lose to the 49ers, 41-23, in the NFL divisional playoff round.

Dahmen posted on social media, after the Lions defeated the Packers in front of a nationally televised audience, "Holy cow! I can't believe the Lions are sending MY Seahawks to the playoffs. Beers for everyone in Detroit this summer."

Well, now that the summer has arrived, it may be time to showcase his gratitude for Lions fans who are on site at the Detroit Golf Club this week.

The tournament's social media account posted, "Our Detroit fans haven't forgotten."

Dahmen, who was featured on Netflix's "Full Swing," replied, "How much are beers at the course this week."

The Rocket Mortgage Classic runs this week from June 27 – July 2.
