How to Watch Detroit Lions' Newest 'Inside the Den'
The much anticipated Detroit Lions series, "Inside the Den," returns Thursday evening.
After teasing that the release would be in mid-July, the video team will hopefully give an eager fanbase an inside look at the draft process and the front office personnel discussing the picks with head coach Dan Campbell.
Supporters have been clamoring for the series to air, even going as far as making repeated comments on social media asking for the series to air, even when the team made posts about other topics.
Seeing the happenings of the "war room" have always been compelling to viewers and NFL fans.
Recall, general manager Brad Holmes has been known to celebrate picks by banging the table, including when the team made Penei Sewell the No. 7 overall pick back in 2022.
Others enjoy seeing how Holmes and Campbell interact during the draft and how they explain the selections afterwords.
Personally, it would be interesting to see a behind-the-scenes look at how the young drafted players interact with the team's assistant and position coaches during minicamp and organized team activities.
The series won a Michigan Emmy for best sports documentary back in 2022.
The video team has been praised for other series as well, including Under the Helmet, which details the journey of players on the roster.
Tonight's debut will be the third episode that will have dropped in 2023.
It has been rumored to run over 60 minutes, so the wait should be worth it for supporters of the Lions.
