Lions Jameson Williams Responds to Young Fan's Viral Video
The Detroit Lions gained a whole new generation of fans with their deep run in the postseason.
For years, the team was synonymous with losing.
Supporters often wondered if the team would ever end up being successful, as the team would often have long droughts in between playoff appearances.
With a new front office and coaching staff in place, a renewed sense of hope was validated with multiple playoff wins that occurred at Ford Field in front of home fans.
The passion for the Lions runs so deep, even young children are taking to social media to record their reactions to wins and heartbreaking losses.
Granted the loss to the 49ers was shocking and extremely tough to deal with, but scrolling online also made it more difficult to cope, as videos surfaced of young fans crying and being heartbroken the team's 2023 season was officially over.
One fan went viral for a different reaction.
A young fan took to social media to record a classic rant that is typically reserved for sports talk radio or online from those seeking to vent their frustrations regarding critical errors made by their favorite team.
The fan rightfully complained about the team's poor tackling and his explanation of just what a wasted opportunity the loss in the NFC Championship Game really was.
Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams, who is no stranger to scrolling online, found the video and gave his rely, an optimistic comment intended to restore faith the team can return again in 2024.
"We gon b back max," Williams replied to the viral video.
While head coach Dan Campbell did add a little fear and increased supporters anxiety when he expressed postgame he told the team it may have been their only shot to win the Lombardi Trophy, the front office and their propensity to find players that fit the scheme should give young fans and all Lions' supporters optimism Detroit's run is not over just yet.
